I spotted this on the corner of 6th Ave and 12th St.  Does anybody know what's going in?  That duck is holding some Belgian frites.  I definitely could use a Belgian frites joint in the Slope!

New York's second largest park is 10 feet away, yet this jerk has to do his pushups in the middle of the PPW bike lane.  Classy.

I was walking up 4th Ave (btwn Pres and Union) and saw this lot that was filled with gorgeous light.  It was a nice Brooklyn moment, and I was thankful that I had my camera with me.

Lifetime Membership!

I've always been amused by the flashiness of this "Special Lifetime Membership!" sign of the Royal Video Exchange, on the north edge of Park Slope, by Flatbush Ave and 6th Ave.  Are they referring to the life of the store, or to your life? Or is it the life of the membership itself!?  Now that's a philosophical conundrum.  This spot is boarded up, but Royal Video still exists in a smaller location down the street on Flatbush, so you still have a lifetime of videos to rent if you still have your membership with them.  That is of course, if you still rent DVDs.
