Colson Patisserie

The amazing Belgian "Colson Patisserie" on 6th Ave & 9th Street.  The only bad thing there is knowing you can't taste every single thing they have for sale every time you go.  Well, that and the slanted tables and chairs outside.  They're bad for your lower back.  :)

Wheat paste

I always enjoy seeing the new posters on Timboo's wall.  The brashness and loud volume of the graphics inject just a touch of energy into one of the Slope sleepy corners.

This guy is the gatekeeper for a brownstone on 6th St. between 5th and 6th Avs.

Red Spring

Signs of spring popping up in the neighborhood.  These beautiful red branches are from a bush on 12th street, near 7th Ave.

Accurate Photo

Accurate Photo is the place I use to develop all my film, they are awesome with good prices.  They do everything there, Black & White, 120 film, cross process, they will do anything you ask.  At the height of my film usuage I just had them develop only for $3 (I have a scanner at home).  Now that I have slowed down I get the CD also which is more expensive, about $8 a roll for CD and negatives.

It's time for spring.  Found outside a 5th Ave bodega.

Color TV!

I love these dated "electronic appliances" signs.  "Color TV", "Tape Recorders", "Stereo Hi-Fi", "Phonos".   They remind me of my grandfather's closet filled with old electronics.  When I was a kid I was in heaven while going thru his stuff.

This store is on 7th Ave by President St.

The Django Experiment

Stephane Wrembel and his cast of merrymakers invoke the spirit of the late Django Reinhardt every Sunday night at Barbes.  Their show is a hidden Park Slope treasure that would be a shame to miss out on.
