The new Barklays Center, seen from the north end of 5th Avenue. Opened last Friday Sept 21st, 2012. This marks one of the northern edges of the neighborhood. Some people like it, a lot of people hate it. I wish it wasn't there, but it is what it is. It'll be interesting to see how this part of the neighborhood evolves around it.
Lots of vapor trails in the sky this day. Up there, it's the flight path to land at La Guardia Airport. Down here, it's 4th Avenue receiving the afternoon rush hour traffic.

This is kind of a work-in-progress. For years I've been pondering on how to capture in a single shot, the feeling I get when the river of runners passes by 4th Avenue on the western edge of Park Slope. The silent dynamic energy of the runners, framed by the noisy static crowd cheering them. I think i'm on to something here, but I need to explore this idea further next year.

Accurate Photo is the place I use to develop all my film, they are awesome with good prices. They do everything there, Black & White, 120 film, cross process, they will do anything you ask. At the height of my film usuage I just had them develop only for $3 (I have a scanner at home). Now that I have slowed down I get the CD also which is more expensive, about $8 a roll for CD and negatives.
