A hazy sunset from 5th Ave and 17th Street with #1 World Trade Center near it's final height.
Few people know that Park Slope's only 7-11 (5th Ave between 13th and 14th) has a really nice selection of prepared vegan lunches. They are the same organic brand that is de rigueur at all the nice grocery stores in the Slope, and they are only $4-6!! The store manager told me that they always order 9 cases of the vegan stuff, and it flies off the shelves very quickly.
Someone's been tagging the base of lamp posts in the Slope with this drawing. Frankly, I love it!
The back patios of old NYC buildings have so much story and personality to them. They also bring images of nice warm weather, which is when we get to hangout in them. This is a detail of the patio at Bierkraft, one of my favorite places, on 5th Ave. Beers and sandwiches. Really good sandwiches! The "Serrano" is my favorite.
Accurate Photo is the place I use to develop all my film, they are awesome with good prices. They do everything there, Black & White, 120 film, cross process, they will do anything you ask. At the height of my film usuage I just had them develop only for $3 (I have a scanner at home). Now that I have slowed down I get the CD also which is more expensive, about $8 a roll for CD and negatives.
The OTB in action on 5th ave before it closed! taken in 2009. I have gone back to film so not as fast to update anymore and not as up to date as digital unless I take photos with my cell phone.
