Dear Winter, 

I don't usually write fan letters, especially to super cold seasons, but this year you really gave us a run for our money. Thanks for the good times. 

P.S. tell Spring we are looking forward to seeing her again. 

The Ride

Many of us had a snow day this Thursday.  Great day for a sled ride.  January 27, 2011, Prospect Park.

Bliss.

This shot is from a couple of years ago.  Just a dog having fun in our dear neighborhood Prospect Park.  I've never really shared this image with anyone, but today seemed like the right day to do it.  It always makes me smile.

While skiing across Prospect Park, Todd Bieber found an exposed roll of film laying in the snow.  He decided to have it developed and to try to find it's owners.  Take a look at this most incredible video and story.  My heart is still warm from it.

As a side note, how man of you still shoot film?  I do on occasion.
